The Great Carve-Off

After carefully selecting the perfect pumpkin, things got serious. Everyone got into the action and some of us may have bit off more than we could chew (or should I say carve.) The end result was some pretty good looking jack-o-lanterns.

Pumpkin in the Patch

Look who we found wandering in the local pumpkin patch. We
decided to bring this little pumpkin home, but skip the carving.

Lucky Number 7

Finn celebrated his seventh month birthday with the arrival of his first tooth (it arrived three days after his birthday.) He weighs 16lbs and can sit up on his own. He loves to sit up and then dive forward to grab his toys. Right now one of his favorite toys is his singing Halloween Tree that Aunt Laural gave him. He's also starting to become mobile by doing what I like to call the centipede. (He must have learned that from his break-dancing dad.)

What's more fun than a barrel of monkeys? How about a room full munchkins and their photo happy parents. I think it took only 14 takes to get one photo with all three looking in the same general direction.

The Not-So-Sweet Sweet Peas

On Finn's six month birthday he was treated to some delicious sweet peas. I think he would have preferred a little birthday cake instead.
