After a small blogging hiatus, The Rutledge Family is back with big news and Finn high-lights. For all of you (I think there are actually four people who regularly read this blog) that have been wondering why it has been so long. Well, we've been a little busy. We are expecting a new baby (due the end of November) and as a result have put our house on the market and have been looking for a new home. That project has pretty much consumed the majority of my time. If I'm not cleaning and preparing for someone to see our house, then I am out of the house juggling Max and Finn desperately trying to think of an activity that will keep us out of the house without dying in the summer heat. The pool has been a great escape for Finn, but I've learned that dogs are generally frowned upon at public pools.

He said brr, brr, brr and pointed the entire time. One of the highlights was when we got to go in an exhibit where the birds are free to roam around. He laughed and laughed when the birds would walk over by him. He
First Steps
About a month ago Finn started taking a few wobbly steps. In the time it has taken me to post this video he's gotten much better. He is not completely steady just yet, but he's taking more and more steps on his own. It won't be long before we won't be able to keep up with him.
